Specific Study of "Biyan Ul Quran" Regarding Character Building in the Light of Surah-Al-Muminoon and Surah Al-Ma'rij

The objective of this research paper is to analyze the importance of character building in the light of principles stated in Surah-al-Muminoon and Surah-al-Ma'rij. Islam has given importance to character building because it is core need for development of a civilized society. Dr. Asrar Ahmad (a renown Muslim scholar) has described the principles of character building in his exegesis "Bayanul-Quran" in a comprehensive way. He emphasized that by following principles such as Trust, contract, prayers, Zakat, fulfilling promise, avoiding vulgar speech and controlling libido makes human's character pure and sound.
