Abstract
The o bjective of this research paper is to analyze the social benefits of family life. For this purpose, we selected two famous books: Bahishti Zewar written by Maulana Ashraf Ali Thanvi and Jannati Zewar writtin by Abdul Mustafa Azmi. These books have been written on the principles of wedding, issues of family life and their solutions. We analyzed and compared the contents of these books relating to Nikhah (wedding contract), rights and obligations of husband and wife and procedure of completing this contract. The two authors shed light on the objectives of wedding and its importance in family development and offsprings.
