Abstract
The objective of this study was to identify the best method for teaching at primary school level. For this purpose, we developed a questionnaire based on 5-points Likert scale. 200 teachers from primary schools, both urban and rural areas, both male and female teachers from district Multan, were selected as a sample of the study. We went to different schools for collection of data, which was analyzed through relevant statistical techniques. During survey we found teachers highly qualified, having professional education and experience of their jobs and were well aware of the teaching techniques. Most of teachers use activity based teaching methods aided with different teaching tools. They mostly use handouts, textbooks printed material, pictures, tools and real things related to teaching topic in class.
