Causes of Intelerance and Need of Patience in the Light of Holy Quran and Sunnah

The holy Quran is a divine book in which a comprehensive guideline has been provided how spend life and how to deal with one another. The solutions of all issues of contemporary world have been given in this Holy book to enable the human being to cope with the challenges of life. For this purpose, the Holy book has advised the human being particularly Muslim community to focus on moral aspects of life and opt tolerance and patience in their daily life. By opting tolerance and patience, we can make our lives peaceful and successful and lessen the effects of evil things. The objective of this research paper is to study the causes of intolerance and need of patience in the existing world. We used secondary data in this study and Quran and Sunnah were its main sources. We selected relevant verses from the Holy Quran and sayings of the Holy Prophet (PBUH). We conclude that intolerance and impatience were the two root causes of existing problems of human being. We suggest that in order to create peace and tranquility in our society we should follow the instructions of Quran-o-Sunnah regarding creating tolerance and patience in our lives.
